![]() PERSONA 5 ROYAL FUSION GUIDE PLUSYou don't need PlayStation Plus to use this, or any other online features of Persona 5. Public Execution, aka Network Fusion (vanilla Persona 5) These recipes are fixed, and have no real trick to them. Guillotine fusions can fail, resulting in a persona entirely separate from the normal result. I am told the calculation for the resulting Persona's level is: "((Default level + default level) / 2 ) + 1 or 0.5" depending on if the average of their levels is a whole number or not.Īny DLC Personas you own will affect the calculations. As I understand it, there's an algorithm that determines what Arcana combinations result in what, and the average of the materials' base level determines the exact Persona. The result is normally dependent on the Arcana and base level of the material Personas. Guillotine, aka Dyad Fusion, aka Normal Fusion If you use them in any type of basic fusion, the resulting Persona will gain moves that either make an already complete build, or make it an ideal Gallows sacrifice. If you use them as a material in Persona strengthening, instead of 5 random stat increases, you gain 10. Any clarifications on this are highly appreciated, as I do not quite understand how it works. It seems the resulting item is still dependent on the material Persona's level, in addition to their Arcana and even moves. If you use this Persona as a material in any type of fusion, it's guaranteed to fail, but will provide superior results to normal failure. In Royal, if you use any of these methods during a Fusion alarm, the resulting Persona's name will flash yellow for the duration of said alarm. Any learned skills also have a chance of mutating into a different, random skill, though these usually tend to be similar to the original. ![]() In Royal, during a Fusion Alarm, you will be able to inherit as many skills as the resulting Persona has open slots. You can select skills from your materials for your result Persona to inherit, but only within the limits of skill inheritance, which I will elaborate on further. This boils down to some Advanced Fusions you unlock the recipes for by beating certain Mementos targets, the Personas you can fuse after you maxed certain Confidants (there's one for every Confidant Most of them are advanced fusions, though a few are summonable normally, and eve fewer have a single, set recipe), and a batch of Personas you can only fuse during Royal's third semester. There are many fusion recipes that are locked behind something. Persona Traits cannot be passed on through Gallows. This allows you to max out every stat of a Persona, normally not possible by leveling them up. Gallows sacrifices can fail, resulting in the strengthened Persona gaining no XP or new moves, but rather 5 total stat increases randomly assigned. This will likely cost a large sum of money, but it lets you build your personas faster and more reliably.ĭuring a Fusion Alarm, the strengthened Persona gains considerably more XP.ĭuring a Fusion Alarm, there is a chance for more than one skill to pass on from the material to the strengthened Persona.ĭuring a Fusion Alarm, you can legitimately strengthen a Persona multiple times in a single day, which is not normally possible. You can, however, circumvent this by registering, deleting it otherwise getting rid of, and re-summoning the desired Persona. You can normally only strengthen a Persona once every in-game day. What moves will pass on from the material to the strengthened Persona are random, but obey the same rules as Guillotine. ![]() Having maxed the Confidant of whatever Arcana your strengthened Persona is, will result in greater XP gain. Some skill cards that can only be gained from accidents, and what level Persona: Amrita Shower - 56 Aliment Boost - 36 Angelic Grace - 56 Divine Grace - any Fortify Spirit - 56 Heat Up - 36 Life Aid - 56 Megido - any Whether that means their base or current lavel, I'm unsure. What you get depends on the level of the material Persona. This will result in an item separate from what you would obtain normally. You can only do these once every in-game day.ĭuring a Fusion Alarm, the end result will be different from what it would normally be, usually a better version of it.Įlectric Chair fusions can fail. The best equipment for most of the party can be obtained through itemization. ![]() It is set what Personas turn into what items. Any feedback, corrections, and questions are appreciated! This guide is meant to help with the basics, as well as some not necessarily intuitive mechanics of all the types of fusion. ![]()
